Yes, thats me getting the an award from my club. This time for co-driver of the year.
I really was chuffed to get it but somehow the picture does not show me at my best, perhaps I had just seen someone drinking my strongbow or perhaps my bra was killing me, I just don't know

I would like to thank my club the FODMC for giving me this award and David Stokes for presenting it to me.

I have listed below the final few events I did at the end of 2008, some with pictures and results.

 

End of year round up

Swansea bay 19th July 2008 with Chris Firth in his N10 Subaru. Sadly we did not finish due to the bottom arm breaking.

Coracle Stages 27th July 2008 with Andy Williams in his Subaru. We finished 8th overall and 3rd in class.

 

Neath Valley Stages 16th August 2008 with Alun Roberts in the Peugeot 206. We finished 2nd in class

 

Mewla Rally 24th August 2008 with Chris firth in the N10 Subaru this was over the brilliant Epynt Ranges and was a first for Chris. We finished 3rd in class.

 

Woodpecker Stages 30th August 2008 with Alun Roberts in his Peugeot 206 finishing 2nd in class

 

The Plains 20th September 2008 . Well, for this one we sadly, never even got out of the first stage as we ended up going off down a bank.

 

Trackrod 27th September 2008 with Chris Firth in the N10 subaru, this rally was held up in the lovely Yorkshire woods and we were having a brilliant time until one stage from the end we had no drive and had lost all gears.

 

Bulldog rally 18th October 2008 I sat with Nigel Jenkins in his 1400 nova, We had built up over a 2 and a half minute lead in our class but sadly at the end of one but last stage the crown wheel and pinion broke.
